Quick tips: Table Care

• Begin by brushing the table, ensuring that you sweep dirt in the direction of the nap.
• Once the dirt is gathered at the end of the table, use the end of the brush or a cushion brush to clear it out at the pockets.
• Wrap a duster or piece of baize around the brush, then use the wooden side to sweep down the table as if ironing it flat.
• Ensure the iron is at an appropriate heat (test on paper first to avoid scorching). Iron in straight lines down the table, overlapping each line until the entire surface is ironed.
• Be cautious not to over-iron, as this can dry the wool fibers and increase cloth wear.
